emmanation™ was founded by Emma Jane Taylor, born in 1972. She was physically/ sexually abused aged 9-16 years old; years that took their toll. As a child she was told she was a failure, the girl going nowhere. She had a juvenile delinquent badge slapped on her at 13 by a school psychiatrist - she was forced to see the psychiatrist or face expulsion. She spent most of her school years isolated in a school office with a chaperone. Her difficult childhood led her to everything she is passionate about today, from performing arts to fitness to campaigning against child abuse!
Dance and Fitness was hugely impactful in helping her heal from childhood trauma, and together with many years of therapy has enabled her to exist in a life that she was often told she would not survive, or if she did, would most likely end up in prison...thankfully neither.
Well-being formulated her future activities in her professional and personal life. She practises what she preaches, every day - because she truly understands what it feels like to consistently feel well; mentally, emotionally and physically - and she shares that with anyone who wants to listen.

Since 1997, aged 25, and without ever realising, Emma Jane used her love of dance and fitness to formulate all her professional world. She launched her first business - StageWorks Performing Art School for children in 2000 and was given a piece of advice from her stepfather; to never get complacent - a word she’s kept close to her heart a
Since 1997, aged 25, and without ever realising, Emma Jane used her love of dance and fitness to formulate all her professional world. She launched her first business - StageWorks Performing Art School for children in 2000 and was given a piece of advice from her stepfather; to never get complacent - a word she’s kept close to her heart and mind since the beginning of her career.
As she gained more confidence in business, and from her years of undertaking therapy, she found her voice, strength and a way to truly be authentic in her life. Soon after StageWorks opened she opened the doors to NutritiousWorks fitness and dance for adults. Throughout her career she has continued studying to expand her knowledge and talent – and following her stepfathers’ advice; never gets complacent. She has spent hours working with some of the finest in her industry to keep improving her skills.
After publishing her book in 2018, she discovered the power of public speaking & the healing it brings to yourself and others; an authenticity she had never truly appreciated the power of as a young girl. In 2019 she coined the quotes ‘…too positive to be doubtful – …too optimistic to be fearful – …too determined to be defeated; words that are heavily laced through her entire world today.
Her more recent businesses are The BrideWorks, DiscoShuffle, both fuelled by her life journey.
